What is tellows?
tellows was founded on 6 April 2010 in Bennewitz, Germany, and provides a platform for users to rate phone numbers. After launching the first domain at tellows.de, we expanded tellows website to other European countries due to the high demand on phone number information. Today, tellows is present not just in European countries, but in 50 countries all over the world. The use of the website is free. In order for us to offer this service for free, we need to target advertising banners on the website to be able to cover the ongoing costs for our server infrastructure as well as for any support activities. With these marketing revenues, tellows also creates information material for the community, such as the free tellows magazine. But tellows is not just a website – you can also use tellows application on your Android and iPhone! With our app, you can protect yourself from ringing in the face of unpleasant calls. For landline calls, we have a solution for Fritz!box users and tellows caller information for other PBX systems. You can find out more about our different products here.
